ENROLLING
AT WEST PYMBLE
Kindergarten
Parents are
requested to fill in enrolment forms and return them to the school
before July in the year prior to enrolment. Proof of age must
be shown before a child can be accepted into a Kindergarten class.
Documentary evidence can be provided in one of the following ways:
- Birth
Certificate
- Baby
Health Centre Book
- Hospital
Card
- Social
Security/Family Allowance Card
- Migrants
- parents travel documents or marriage book.
All kindergarten
children can commence school at the beginning of the year, if they
turn 5 years before the 1st August of that year. Parents now
have the right to apply for enrolment in a school of their choice
other than the local school.
The entire
family has the responsibility of conveying a positive attitude about
schooling to the prospective kindergarten student. This will
instill positive attitudes about the educational process.
Transfer
of Children:
If a pupil
is transferring to another school, parents are requested to notify
the school beforehand and collect a transfer certificate from the
office to take your child's new school prior to leaving. Parents
must ensure that all school accounts are paid prior to transfer
and that all school property is returned (Library books, band instruments
and music, sports uniforms etc.)
